Each SmartWinders automatic watch winder is made of real oak, and hand coated with up to 15 layers of polyurethane. Each layer requires two full days of drying and tinting and hand polishing.   That means the winder could take up to 30 days just to have the exterior finishing completed. The result is an ultra smooth elegant surface similar to the most expensive piano exterior finishing.
